The Auditions

The 8- Week creative cycle runs throughout the year, with limited spots available for each intake.

All dancers are selected through an audition process to ensure the best creative and learning experience for the group.

What to know:

- New cycles open multiple times per year

- Auditions are required for all participants

-Spots are limited to maintain small group mentorship

- Selected dancers will be notified with full program details and start dates

The Talent Pool:

Dancers who are not selected for the current cycle may be invited to join our SDC Youth Collective Talent Pool. This means they may be considered for future cycles and performances as they become available.

The Audition Process

To Register for our Auditions, each candidate must apply online. There will be small audition fee £15pp for the 2hr process.

During the Audition

Our Auditions run for 2 hours in a supportive and friendly environment. Dancers will be assessed on musicality, technique, performance quality, and teamwork.

The session includes:

- A full guided warm-up

- Across the floor combinations

-Learning and performing a group routine

After the Auditions

Results will be announced within 1-2 days and all participants will receive constructive feedback.

Successful candidates who accept their placement within 24 hours will be eligible for Early Bird Fees. The Standard Fees will then apply.

All SDC Collective Members and Parents will be required to sign a contract and Waiver Form prior to participation.
